HR Assistant

**Are you an experienced Administrator with a passion for supporting colleagues and driving positive change in the HR?**
If so, we want you to be a part of our team at Halfords, the UK's leading provider of automotive and cycling products and services.
As one of our HR Assistants, you'll play a pivotal role in providing exceptional administrative support to the Employee Relations Advisors and key stakeholders across our diverse business. Your expert data collation, analysis, and documentation skills will ensure smooth ER processes, while delivering an outstanding service to the entire Halfords Group.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Collaborate with Employee Relations Advisors and stakeholders across the business.
- Provide high-quality administrative support on HR issues like absence management, redundancy, and flexible working.
- Analyse and publish weekly HR case data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of HR case outcomes in compliance with GDPR regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with employment legislation to ensure we deliver the best service to our colleagues.
- Work with the People Team to implement actions from the engagement survey, fostering a culture of colleague engagement.
**What we're looking for**:
- At least 1 year of administration experience, preferably in an HR or shared service environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and support managers at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and with sensitivity.
- Customer-focused with a positive and resilient attitude, working collaboratively as part of a team.
**Halfords operates a hybrid working policy with 2 days per week on site at our support centre in Redditch Worcestershire.
