**Role Summary**

The Careers & Enterprise Company is looking for a Senior Administrator/ Co-ordinator to be based within the Compliance Team, managing the main administrative tasks connected to the effective delivery of information governance processes, as well as providing overall support to the Compliance Team. You will be a vital member of the team, overseeing record-keeping, co-ordinating data protection activities, maintaining our Accountability Framework and Information Security Management System records.

You must be an experienced senior administrator, adept at overseeing administrative processes and able to maintain audit-quality records, pro-active, positive and able to cope with a busy and changing environment.

Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to work within an organisation making a difference to the future prospects of young people.

**Key responsibilities**:
You will support the effective performance of the Compliance Team’s responsibilities to:
- Maintain accurate accountability and governance records in relation to privacy assessments, audit work and policy changes.
- Maintain the annual Compliance Calendar
- Co-ordinate audit, training, assessments, and other activities within the team and across CEC
- Process incoming enquiries and ensure they are responded to within an appropriate time, responding to enquiries appropriately as your skills and knowledge develop.
- Contribute to regular compliance reporting.

You will work closely with colleagues within the Compliance Team and across CEC, ensuring that Compliance work is well co-ordinated. You will have the opportunity to use your growing compliance knowledge within areas of interest.

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience of administration in a busy environment.
- Practical experience of MS Office and confident user of ICT including SharePoint and Teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Delivery focussed - demonstrate effective prioritisation of work in a busy environment, committed, trusted, punctual, organised, with attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to work independently with appropriate oversight from Compliance Team colleagues.
- Positive mindset and able to develop effective relationships.
- Interest in data protection, information security or careers leadership (desirable)
