JOBLING PURSER is seeking a full-time **Site Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Administrator**

**Position Summary**:
A great opportunity has arisen for a Quality led SSEHQA professional to join a family run business; Jobling Purser is a well-established successful business operating on one site in Newcastle upon Tyne, another in Carlisle and a third in Haltwhistle. The business manufactures bitumen compounds, surfacing systems and asphalt products. Knowledge of this industry would be most advantageous but is not essential.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Logging all site accidents and incidents into a centralised spreadsheet and update actions
- Collating safety awareness and alerts training documentation
- Maintaining IME System master database
- Managing data for emergency teams of Fire Wardens and First Aiders for the site, and arranging training where necessary
- Ensuring HSEQ notice boards are updated with relevant information such as policy documents, health and safety, environmental etc.
- Supporting HSEQ manager by developing committee meeting information, minutes, and tracking of actions
- Supporting the site in the management of contractors and RAMS
- Supporting site teams in supply of PPE
- Completing basic risk assessments and standard operating procedures
- Maintaining site compliance documentation (LOLER, DSEAR, COSHH) and update action trackers

**Skills and experience**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administration role
- Excellent person management and relationship skills
- Comfortable working effectively within a broad rang of working environments, within a team or alone
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety legislative requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to work under pressure
- Integrity and honesty
- Good standard of written and numerical literacy
- IOSH Managing Safely (desired)
- Internal auditing (desired)
- Understanding SDS (desired)

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
