Operations Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Assistant to join a busy and thriving company within the Norwich area, who can provide you with an incredible working environment and career opportunities. We are looking for a self-motivated team member, who is customer focused, highly organised and enjoys working in a busy environment that is methodical in their approach to work. This is a varied role, so the ability to multitask and think on your feet is advantageous.
**Responsibilities**:
- Processing sales orders in accordance with company procedures onto the companies systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all action taken.
- Update relevant spreadsheets and internal systems.
- To deal with and manage customer complaints, escalating any issue promptly and keeping the customers updated on actions and outcomes.
- Manage and prevent any order discrepancy issues to maintain order quality and customer satisfaction.
- Deal with any customer queries
- Ensure all procedures, rules and regulatory compliance standards are adhered to.
- Liaise with customers both inbound and outbound to resolve any issues on orders.
**About you**:
- Have good interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal with people at all levels.
- Highly accurate and strong attention to detail
- Be able to take responsibility and be accountable for your own areas of responsibility,
- Have exceptional organisation skills, can multitask, and can prioritise from the deadlines set by the Operations manager.
- Be able to react quickly in an ever-changing and demanding environment,
- Have a good standard of literacy, numeracy, and IT skills,
- Previous Telecoms order processing, issuing or back of office sales support experience highly desirable.
- Being able to identify any problems before they should arise and escalate.
- Able to ensure that all orders placed progress through the systems to a closed and installed status.
