**Exciting opportunity for an experienced Reception Supervisor**

Our client is recognised as one of the UK’s leading law firms and, due to growth, they are currently seeking a professional and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join their facilities department. This is an exiting time in the company’s growth asthey are moving into newly refurbished office space in the centre of Guildford.

The contract is fixed term to permanent. The jobholder will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of their reception and all other front of house services including day to day management of the outsourced catering provision, switchboard and cleaningservices.

A key priority is to ensure that all clients, other visitors to the firm, and staff who need to liaise with the FOH team receive a consistently excellent client service experience that is in line with the firm’s values.

The role will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of two Receptionists and you will also need to work on the reception desk to provide cover on occasions. There will also be a need to oversee the smooth organisation and running of events (for bothinternal and external clients). Some of these will require out of hours support from the job holder.

**Key responsibilities**
- Day to day supervision of the reception team; ensuring that excellent customer service is maintained at all times; co-ordinating cover for leave, task allocation, delegating where appropriate and overseeing progress and performance
- Provide Reception cover on an as needed basis - typically for one afternoon a week and as needed during periods of leave, absence and on a rota -basis over the lunch time period.
- Ensure that the external catering, telephone and cleaning services work efficiently, are of the highest standards and comply with legal health and safety obligations
- Manage the Town Hall bookings/catering/layouts
- Provide a key day to day point of contact, building effective relationships with the external providers, reviewing their services as needed and working with the Facilities Manager to manage costs and service provision effectively.
- Co-ordinate and manage the catering requirements with the external caterers, keeping track of invoicing and overall costs. Individual catering orders may be raised by the wider reception team / secretaries but need to be recorded centrally.
- Support the Facilities Manager on the annual budgeting process and other projects as required.
- Oversee, and co-ordinate the smooth running of events (both internal and also for clients/ other visitors; this will require occasional evening work. This will involve working closely with the BD/Marketing team.
