**QA Officer, Operations**

We are recruiting for a QA Officer to be based at our Moulsecoomb site working closely with our Packaging, QC and Warehouse Teams. In this varied role there is scope to be involved in a diverse range of tasks and to develop your skills in a friendly, supportive team and established, customer focussed quality environment.

**About Custom Pharma Services (CPS)**

Custom Pharma Services is an established contract development and manufacturing organisation with a broad portfolio of commercial and development products and has a proven track record of designing and developing new oral solid dose formulations to support clinical studies, followed by process development and scale up to successfully launch these new products. **About the role**

You will be carrying out QA reviews of production batch documentation, appraisal of associated deviations and non-compliance from GMP as well as providing direct, QA support to production and assisting in the resolution of quality related incidents. You will also be assisting in the overall improvement of company-wide compliance with the main focus being on packaging activities and assisting in the implementation of Quality Systems in order to achieve site quality objectives and meet company and statutory/regulatory requirements.

In summary:

- Performing batch documentation reviews
- Classification of non-conformance reports
- Assisting in resolution of non-conformance and associated quality deviations and investigations
- Playing a key role in improving documentation right first time
- Dealing with supplier complaints
- Temperature monitoring of Warehouse and Production areas
- Providing QA support to operational areas
- Performing review of equipment calibration and performance records
- Assisting in the rejection and quarantine of materials when required
- Performing product sampling when required
- Playing an active part in the monitoring of NCR closures and compiling quality metrics
- Control of packing protocols
- Writing and updating new and current SOPs
- Product despatches, stock checks and overseeing any retains in product store
- To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by management
- Experience within a QA/QC environment ideally in the pharmaceutical industry or other similar GMP environment
- An understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice, Pharmaceutical Legislation and sources of reference
- Knowledge of requirements for statutory QA Compliance prior to batch release and Quality Systems implementation
- A familiarity with QA and QC procedures
