As the Quality Team Leader, you’ll be at the heart of a beloved food brand, ensuring every product meets the highest standards. This isn’t just about keeping customers safe; it’s about maintaining trust, building quality, and leading a team to do the same.

Why This Role Matters: In this position, you’ll be the central force in upholding the brand’s integrity. Your work will be crucial to meeting legal and customer requirements, delivering excellence, and driving improvements that keep the brand competitive and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the Quality Team:

You’ll take on full line management responsibilities, overseeing training, performance, and task scheduling to maintain quality across all shifts. This includes providing out-of-hours support for emergencies and balancing team workloads for consistent results.
Driving Continuous Improvement:

With a keen eye for detail, you’ll conduct regular reviews to identify trends, address non-conformances, and enhance processes, ensuring the site remains fully compliant.
You’ll manage schedules for microbiological tests, GMP audits, glass and plastic audits, and more to ensure no detail slips through.
Ensuring Compliance:

Compliance is critical. You’ll proactively tackle any non-compliance issues, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve them swiftly.
Managing allergen control is also key, ensuring all products meet specific safety requirements for allergens, species, and vegan criteria.
Handling Customer Complaints:

As the owner of the customer complaints process, you’ll lead investigations and address complaint trends, working to resolve issues quickly while protecting the brand’s reputation.
You’ll also maintain internal audit readiness, managing records and document control in line with technical legal requirements.
Maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS):

Overseeing the QMS and coordinating with external service providers, you’ll handle equipment calibration, record-keeping, and ensure smooth operations.
You’ll support training initiatives and be ready to step in for the Technical Manager when needed.
What We’re Looking For:

You bring 3-5 years’ experience in a technical role, with a solid understanding of third-party audits, including BRC and retailer standards.
HACCP Level 4 and Food Safety Level 4 are essential, along with a strong foundation in microbiology and allergen control.
You’re proficient in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team.
Clear and effective communication is key, as you’ll work with all levels to uphold quality standards.

The Offer: If you’re ready to lead a team and make a lasting impact on quality, this is the role for you. More than just a job, it’s a chance to be the champion of quality excellence, ensuring every product meets rigorous standards. Apply now to take on a leadership role where your expertise makes a difference every day
