We currently have an opportunity for a Medical Secretary to join our Urol-Oncology Specialist Nurses based at Musgrove Park Hospital.

We are a strong, proactive team who welcome innovation and adaptability within the service.

We are looking for someone who’ll be able to pull on their excellent organisational skills to provide a complete medical secretarial service to the Uro-Oncology Nurse Specialist Service and wider team.

As well as being part of the busy department, you’ll be required to prioritise your own workload on a day-to-day basis. Excellent IT and communication skills along with a good typing speed are essential for this role.

This role offers the opportunity to work from home on occasion.

Communicate with patients, colleagues, internal and external contacts in a courteous, professional and timely manner at all times by various methods, i.e. telephone, written, face to face

Deal with day to day correspondence, initiating appropriate responses in order to provide patients, staff and other parties with required information in a friendly and professional manner.
