We are now recruiting for a **Waste Operative** to join our facilities team.

You will be responsible for the upkeep and removal of all waste from all Allied Vehicles’ buildings and surrounding infrastructure. All waste should be stored in the correct skips/bins and then disposed of efficiently to ensure upkeep of site and associated Allied properties.

Hours of work are **Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday, 7am-5.30pm** and the salary is **£12 per hour.**

**The main duties of the role are**:

- Collecting all waste streams from all internal and external locations across site
- Ordering and booking all waste skips and collections through facilities
- General labouring e.g. power washing/litter picking
- Sorting and segregating of all waste
- Helping to increase recycling

**To be effective in this role, you will have**:

- Previous waste management experience
- A counterbalance forklift licence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

**A Driving licence is essential for this role.**
