**Purpose of the role**:
The role of the Logistics Coordinator is to ensure the efficient delivery of products to customers and ensure all relevant paperwork and databases up to date

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan daily delivery routes using Max-Optra software
- Manage driver’s daily activities, ensuring driving hours are utilised efficiently and working time directives are adhered to
- Ensure delivery requirements are met and any discrepancies dealt with
- Contact customers to ensure correct delivery information and to notify of delivery times and details
- Ensure that all delivery paperwork is filled in correctly and scanned into SharePoint, no later than two days after delivery
- Assist Dispatch with checking the loading of vans and signing off on correct loading
- Book accommodation for drivers, as and when required
- Ensure all vans are kept in good condition, and all faults and issues are reported via the Velocity app
- Liaise with Health and Safety to ensure that any issues with vans are resolved
- Any other ad hoc duties

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Excellent decision-making skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.65-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
