We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our dynamic and fast-paced Finance team on a 18-month fixed-term contract.

In this role, you will work in partnership with our other Accounts Receivable Supervisor and be responsible for checking and authorising information relating to a variety of income streams accurately and in line with organisational and customers’ Service Level Agreement Key Performance Indicators, providing customer service support for the Accounts Receivable Assistant, and supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager.

What you will be doing:
Evaluate and authorise sales ledger invoices, credit notes, and related documents.

Manage daily receipts identified as exceptions by the Accounts Receivable Assistant.

Evaluate, process, and reconcile site transactions related to banking between systems on a daily basis, reporting by exception to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

Manage and resolve tour company invoice queries, dealing with reconciliation and debt collection priorities, and escalating where necessary.

Undertake credit control activities for all customers, reporting on progress and queries and recommending further actions on a weekly basis.

Serve as the first point of contact for all internal and external customers with questions about Accounts Receivable. Resolving any problems where possible or escalating further if necessary.

Provide support to the Accounts Receivable Manager by gaining an understanding of the various income streams, maintaining all desk instructions, and ensuring all activities are undertaken in line with KPIs.

Seek to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Assist with the implementation of any relevant projects or programmes, including assisting in user acceptance testing for relevant systems.

Who are we looking for:

- General Finance Knowledge - ideally with specific Accounts Receivable experience (Part qualified or equivalent experience).
- Confident and articulate when speaking or writing to a variety of people.
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A high level of numerical and verbal reasoning.
- Previous experience in a busy, high-volume customer-facing role.
- Supervisor experience.
