CPL is a leading provider of quality downhole Cable Protection Systems to the oil and gas sector; we are a successful and growing company.

We are currently looking to fill the following vacancy on a full-time, permanent basis.

**Material Controller / Storeman**
- The role involves working alongside existing personnel to ensure the effective management of materials and supplies in a manner that effectively supports the production process. Duties and responsibilities are likely to include:

- The control and care of stock including customer owned goods.
- Maintaining accurate stock records including batch numbers and stock locations of all items.
- Updating the CPL computer system to maintain real time stock records.
- Making the computer entries to record the allocation and issuing of materials used in Production.
- Receiving, verifying, and booking in, using the computerised stock system, all incoming goods.
- Arranging storage for all received and ready for despatch goods.
- Liaising with Workshop Supervisor and Operations Manager to support the production process - ensuring effective, formal communication.
- Interacting with the Production Schedule and Work Orders to ensure materials and supplies are available for production.
- Ensure materials and supplies are issued to the shop floor in a timely manner.
- Monitoring material order delivery dates to flag up non-delivery of parts.
- Liaising with relevant individuals to ensure efficient deliveries to customer.

**Essential Experience**:

- Excellent organisational skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in a previous Stores/ Material Control position.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.

**Salary**: £11.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
