**About the Role**
The PPC department sits within the Marketing Team and has a considerable influence on the overall performance of the business. Working with the in-house team, the Head of PPC will lead the planning, analysis and implementation of the Paid Search strategy, helping to drive continued success. They will play a key role in helping improve the efficiency of the Paid Search activity, as well as grow traffic volumes/sales and expand into new international markets.

Responsibilities: *
- Day-to-day management, optimisation and reporting of performance, helping to deliver vs business targets, driving growth in search visibility and hitting team KPIs/objectives
- Develop, own and optimise Paid Search campaigns across Google and Microsoft, to achieve key business metrics
- Lead on recommendations and insights for improving account performance and pushing PPC best practices
- Responsible for the planning and direction of the overall PPC strategy and roadmap
- Implement a ‘test, measure, learn’ approach to PPC to maximise performance and efficiency
- Keeping up-to-date with changes and opportunities across Paid Search
- Working collaboratively with the wider Marketing team, as well as Data Science, Data Engineering, Holiday Product and Supply in order to continually improve performance
- Manage a small team of x3 PPC experts. Reporting directly into the Director of Performance Marketing

**About You**
- A proven leader with strong experience and knowledge of managing PPC teams
- Experience managing all aspects of PPC, with significant budgets, across PPC accounts
- Expert, hands-on knowledge using PPC technologies and tools - most notably Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising
- Experience owning and implementing PPC strategy, working closely with other teams across the business to ensure activity aligns and delivers on wider business goals
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets

Not necessary but would be desirable to have:

- Experience using Google BigQuery and SQL
- Experience working with attribution modelling and PPC bidding algorithms
- Previous experience in the travel sector
- Experience managing activity across the Google Display Network, YouTube and Google Hotel Ads
