**Human Resources Officer**
We are seeking a Human Resources Officer to join JP Morgan in Bournemouth on an initial 12 months contract in order to support the Global Employee Support Solutions Team.
The Global Employee Support (GES) Solutions Team provides extended Human Resource’s support to employees and managers in a globally consistent way.
**The HR GES Solutions team is responsible for**:
A client facing advisory role, with tasks which include (but not limited to):
- **Client advisory** - investigate possible solutions for complex cases that require specialist knowledge and an ability to use judgement on HR operations, policies, and processes. Handling difficult conversations whilst utilizing HR specialist teams as required.
- **Acting as an Intermediary with other HR teams** - offers unparalleled exposure and networking opportunities not only within HR, but also with senior Stakeholders across LoB, functions, and business areas.
- **Partnering** closely with HR Business Advisors and Employee Relations - collaborate on a variety of cases, most especially redundancies, grievances, disciplinaries, disputes and performance management.
- **Consistency** - reconciling global and regional processes across a variety of HR products, with the opportunity to become an SME in a country, product, or initiative. The Global Employee Support (GES) Solutions Team provides extended Human Resource’s supportto employees and managers in a globally consistent way.
**Specific responsibilities include**:
- **HR Answers Escalation** **-** Advise managers and employees on general queries relating to HR policies and procedures. Act as an escalation point for the HR Answers Team where support is needed outside the specific HR policies/specialist HR teams. Pick up queries that require investigation and an ability to think outside the box.
- **Performance Management** **-** In partnership with Employee Relations, support the initial investigations for disciplinaries, grievances and performance coaching.
- **Redundancies** - Partner with HR Business Advisors and the Business to support the end to end redundancy process including finalizing of all paperwork and supporting both managers and employees from initial communication through to termination of employment.
- **Data Analytics** **-** Monthly scorecards for ex-UK across EMEA, as well as reporting on Monthly Business Reviews for the Head of International GES, Employee Relations checks, and skip level reporting.
- **Leave of Absence Support -** Support both managers and employees during leaves of absence such as sickness, maternity/paternity and unpaid leave.
**Skills and experience required**:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to influence stakeholders and feel comfortable with ambiguity.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities.
- Client-service focused team player who operates with a sense of urgency and professionalism. Knows when to escalate matters for appropriate resolution.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills; identify issues and trends, develop solutions and/or recommendations to address root cause and mitigate risk to the firm.
- Proficient in MS Office particularly with Excel with experience in HR data analysis.
This role requires you to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week and you will need your own laptop/pc when working from home as these aren't provided.

**Salary**: £130.00 per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

You will be working from home until further notice with a view to come into the office a few days per week once restrictions are lifted
