**HR Assistant**

**Responsibilities**:
HR Administration:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, contracts, and HR databases.
- Prepare HR-related correspondence, such as employment verification letters, employment contracts, and employee communications.
- Assist with HR-related data entry, report generation, and analytics.

Employee Relations:

- Assist with the resolution of employee inquiries and issues, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in organising company-wide events and activities.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to facilitate effective communication and foster a positive work environment.

HR Processes and Compliance:

- Assist in administering HR processes, including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and employee benefits.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Support the HR team in monitoring and updating HR policies and procedures.

Recruitment Support:

- Assist in coordinating the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Support the on boarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of necessary paperwork

HR Projects and Support:

- Take accurate minutes in meetings.
- Contribute to HR projects such as employee development programs, policy reviews, and process improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports and presentations.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 1 years of experience in HR or related roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws in the UK.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in using HR software systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant HR qualification or certification is desirable but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
