The Airspace and ATM Engagement Lead is the business focal point for developing and co-ordinating our engagement and communication plans for airspace and Air Traffic Management (ATM) change including airspace modernisation.

You will be working closely alongside the Airspace and ATM Technical Leads as well as across the business with Heathrows communications, sustainability and communities, legal and procurement teams, the Airspace Engagement Lead will work to propose, procure, develop, and then manage the stakeholder engagement and communication activities necessary to successfully achieve the requisite approvals for Heathrows airspace and ATM changes.

**Your role will involve**:

- Planning and managing all stakeholder engagement events related to airspace change, including public and industry consultation and engagement activities.
- Working with the technical leads to transform and propose the presentation of key technical submissions required to fulfil the CAAs airspace change process into public facing and digestible content that aligns with wider business communications and policies
- Supporting the proposed positions and drafting of responses to questions and queries about Heathrows future airspace and ATM plans including from MPs, members of the public, and other aviation stakeholders.
- Proposing and maintaining the stakeholder engagement plans for Heathrows future airspace and ATM plans, ensuring alignment with company policies, current lines to take, and where relevant the CAAs airspace change process.
- Identifying requirements for, and overseeing the drafting of all public facing communications relating to airspace or ATM change within the teams remit (website, leaflets, advertising, media, and airspace change submissions to the CAA).

**These skills are essential**:

- Demonstrable experience of excellent communication, engagement, and presentation skills at all levels including senior executive, general public, and detailed technical experts in their fields.
- Knowledge of the UK Airspace Change Process and associated engagement requirements.
- Ability to build relationships across the business and work collaboratively to the achieve the required goals.

**Ideally, you'll also have**:

- Previous airspace/airfield communications experience.
- Knowledge of future ATC and Airspace concepts.

**Working location**
Agile working means that whilst Heathrow Airport is your contractual place of work, your role will dictate your working location. This means that you can work from home but will need to come to the airport for meetings, events and training at your own expense. Sometimes, you might need to come to the airport at short notice and therefore we require you to be based in the UK.

**Traveling to work**
