Social Media & Content Executive

Morgan’s social media strategy, focusing on growing an overseas audience, increasing mobile-first content output, and further repositioning the brand globally. Working in a small marketing team alongside a team of creative designers, this newly created position will provide flexibility to make the role your own and make a real impact to the company’s marketing output.

Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and creation of content across company social media channels (Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok), as well as main website news and editorial
- Act as the key point of contact for social media within the Morgan business, managing the content calendar, and ensuring key stakeholders are feeding into the plan in a timely manner
- Support the company’s evolving social media strategy that will help to achieve growth in engagement and audience size
- Create and manage seasonal campaigns (paid and organic) to drive new business for new car sales, experiential, and retail
- Work alongside the wider Marketing and Creative teams to create new content and optimise existing content, in line with wider marketing and communications plan
- Work with retailers in overseas markets to identify content opportunities and share best practice
- Support major company announcements and product launches with channel specific content that drives awareness and engagement
- Create mobile-first photo and video assets (demonstrable experience in this area is important)
- Monitor the latest social media trends to ensure Morgan’s social output remains current
- Actively seek to evolve and enhance Morgan’s community and user engagement platforms
- Management of social reporting and support production of board reports
- Attend events in the UK and abroad to generate fast turnaround social content

Knowledge, skills, training, and experience
- Experience of working on social media and content channels for an established brand is essential
- Minimum of 3 years marketing experience with an established brand is preferred
- A relevant degree in business, marketing or communications is preferred
- Naturally creative individual with an ability to spot content opportunities and identify emerging trends
- Understanding of automotive, luxury and lifestyle brands, and how they communicate using social media and content
- Have an interest in first-party data, analysis of trends and possess an interest in using data to innovate and evolve the customer engagement experience
- Due to the nature of some events we attend, there may be a requirement to work unsociable hours and on weekends (In this event, time in lieu will be offered)
- Experience of photography and video content creation and briefing external creative suppliers

(photographers, videographers, graphic designers)
- Natural ability to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to go above and beyond to achieve objectives
- Exceptional PC skills (MS office at minimum)
- Exceptional copywriting and literacy skills
- Experience of Adobe Creative Suite is desired, but opportunity for training and upskilling is available
- A passion for creative brands, sports cars and the wider automotive and/or luxury lifestyle industry is beneficial
