Title: Team Assistant

Location: London

Team: High Yield and Investment Grade

Provide high quality, intelligent, secretarial and administrative support. The skills and attributes required are excellent secretarial skills, both in typing, presentations etc. and in the organisation of travel, meetings etc.; together with all round ability and common sense, flexibility and the willingness to be an important and integral part of the business.

The workload will occasionally require flexibility outside of core hours depending on the requirements and demands of the team. The material you will be handling is often likely to be highly confidential and will require the utmost care and attention in the way it is dealt with.

Key Responsibilities:

- Full secretarial and PA support to:

- High Yield portfolio managers and research team
- Investment Grade portfolio managers and research team
- Research, organise and book travel (via travel agent) and accommodation for meetings, conferences, issuer roadshow meetings, where required
- Prepare and submit monthly cash and credit card expenses
- Compliance logs
- Maintain and proactively manage PM diaries using Outlook, arranging meetings and appointments.
- Provide assistance to callers in a suitably professional manner. Receiving and passing on messages as appropriate;
- Be a team ambassador in the wider company setting, encourage teammates to attend company events, organise team events and relay information from Corporate Comms.

Key Skills:

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
- Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
- Resilient to manage conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties
- Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
