As an HR Officer, you will provide high quality professional advice and support to managers and staff for any HR related matters. You will have responsibility and accountability for the full employee life cycle and will be involved in all areas of the Human Resources function, with particular focus on employment law and proactive employee relations’ management.

**About the role**
- The HR Officer will manage day to day transactional HR activities including employee relations, general HR administration, other HR processes like holiday, maternity, occupational health and absence management.
- Provide sound and credible advice to staff and management on HR related queries and build trusted relationships with staff as well as senior stakeholders and leaders in the business.
- Support senior managers where appropriate on disciplinary, grievance, capability cases using a problem-solving approach and ensuring high risks are flagged to Head of HR.
- Lead on Employee Relations operations, including management of weekly ER review meetings, providing comprehensive advice on ER Cases, always ensuring legal advice is sought where required, or HR Manager involved if needed.
- Manage starter and leaver processes for head office employees, including issuing contracts and necessary documentation, compliance checks and systems update.
- Assist with preparations for employee meetings including disciplinary and grievance hearings as necessary. Take accurate notes during meetings and support management with drafting comprehensive investigation reports and outcome letters.

**About you**
- You will have your Level 3 CIPD qualification as a minimum.
- Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years as an HR Officer.
- You will have experience of dealing with employee relations processes.
- Good all round employment legislation knowledge.
- Ideally will have worked within the Healthcare sector or another industry where there are high levels of compliance, for example, education or finance.
