You will be responsible for establishing and leading the support, advice and guidance that enables our school leaders to succeed and improve so that we can deliver the highest quality mathematics education for all our children. Our schools will become centres of excellence for mathematics education.

You will initially work closely with five schools to establish the school improvement team and services they need to deliver sustainable improvement as the Trust grows over coming years.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for someone to play a pivotal role in development of the Trust at a time of significant growth.

We are looking for someone who:

- Is an experienced Mathematics educator with a track record of contributing to high quality Mathematics education.
- Has the ability to communicate a clear vision for Trust wide Mathematics development.
- Has a strong knowledge and understanding of the education landscape including for example, accountability measures, awarding bodies or inspection.
- Has experience of leading successful teams and challenging underperformance.
- Can provide evidence of ability to objectively evaluate quality of provision and identify strategies for development.
- Can inspire others to lead complex changes.
- Has the ability to contribute significantly to the future of the Northern Schools Trust.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent.

We are aiming to recruit a leader for SEND to oversee development and improvement in provision across all schools within the trust. You will contribute significantly to a newly established school improvement team focusing on agreed priorities and to be accountable for key identified outcomes.

You will be responsible for establishing and leading the support, advice and guidance that enables our school leaders to succeed and improve so that we can deliver the highest quality support for all our children particularly those with special educational needs or disabilities. Our schools will become centres of excellence.

You will initially work closely with five schools to establish the SEND Network and services they need to deliver sustainable improvement as the Trust grows over coming years.
