An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated administrator to join our team in the Integrated Care Directorate at Velindre Cancer Centre on a full-time basis.

The e-Roster Administrator role is key to supporting the continued use and roll out of the electronic rostering system HealthRoster which has been introduced into some areas / teams within the cancer centre. The post holder will oversee the continued rollout of HealthRoster to all areas and also the launch of ESRGO which will automate the transfer of data from ESR to HealthRoster.

We are therefore, seeking a skilled, reliable and highly organised individual with experience of using HeathRoster and ESR and a sound knowledge of payroll processes. The post holder requires excellent communication and organisation skills and experience of using Microsoft Office packages - World, Excel and PowerPoint. They will also require excellent organisational abilities and be able to work to strict deadlines.

The capability to work in a confidential manner are of paramount importance in this role. The ability to communicate effectively as part of a team; to work well under pressure and to prioritise the demands in a busy environment are also essential.

The post holder will assist the Programme Manager in the implementation of eJob Planning and eRostering to ensure it meets the needs of the organisation for all Nursing staff.

The role will be primarily concerned with infrastructure required to manage an Organisational Change Management environment within the cancer centre. In particular, this will include the following systems;
- The Health Board’s eJob Planning and eRostering Management System
- The Electronic Staff Record (ESR) and associated staff management systems
- Microsoft Office IT Applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Reporting to the Programme Manager, the postholder will ensure the programme is delivered to plan.

The post holder will facilitate, train, coach and support users of the system and provide support on best practice to ensure optimal results are achieved.

The post holder will be flexible to support the implementation of e-system projects across the cancer centre.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
