**Can you engage and support a young person no matter what barriers they face?**

The world and the UK has changed in recent years, creating and hightening feelings of anxiety. For many young people, these challenges are most prominent in their education.

For those that are vulnerable or have SEN & SEMH needs, these barriers can be tenfold.

This is where you come in... as the academic year progresses, some children cannot access or face school. So why not be a part of the new landscape and see young people's lives turned around and make a positive difference?

**So what does the role look like?**
- You'll plan & deliver bespoke 3-5 hour, 2:1 sessions designed around students' needs
- Placements last 6 to 12 weeks & you'll work 2 to 5 days per week with each student
- Sessions take place in students' homes or quiet public places such as libraries
- The aim is to get the student ready to successfully reintegrate back into school, or a suitable environment if possible

**What’s in it for you?**
- A competitive hourly rate with additional pay for planning & reporting
- The autonomy you need to create inspiring student-centred sessions
- Dedicated over-the-phone support from your line manager
- Sessional allowance (£15) to purchase resources or to use for educational visits
- Excellent benefits including store discounts, an Employee Assistance Programme & more
- Training & development opportunities
- The ability to choose your own hours, giving you great work-life balance
- Most importantly... you're going to make a difference in a young persons life

**What do you need to work for Fresh Start?**
- Experience of working with young people at primary age with SEN/SEMH needs, particularly those with Autism
- You’ll need to be a naturally empathetic, engaging and easily approachable person
- Be calm, patient, committed, resilient and have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding
- We’re serious about Safeguarding and Child Protection. Therefore, if successful, you must be willing to undergo thorough employment and background checks as well as an enhanced Child and Adult DBS check._
