**Job description**:

- Calling passionate leaders with change management experience, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to influence lasting change in Central Government.
- The Matrix Programme is a transformation programme involving the Cabinet Office, Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy, Department for Culture Media and Sport, Department for Education, Department for International Trade, Attorney’s General Office and HM Treasury. It is a unique cross-government collaboration that will unlock simpler better and more joined up working by bringing together the systems, processes and ways of working for key government functions such as Finance or HR, commonly known as Shared Services.
- The post sits in the Shared Services Team, a fantastic team passionate about improving the existing shared services experience for BEIS and its partners whilst working to deliver the strategic objectives of the new Government Shared Services Strategy through the Matrix Programme.
- We are looking for an experienced Change Lead to work with BEIS stakeholders and the Matrix Programme team to manage the transition to new ways of working for BEIS as part of a new shared services model. Using appropriate change management methodologies, you will ensure impacted staff understand the importance of the changes and what it means for them. You will focus on the impact of changing technologies, structures and processes, mitigating change risks and ensuring change management activities are delivered effectively.**Read more about BEIS Digital on**

**Person specification**:

- **Leadership **- provide visible and strong change leadership for BEIS, engaging stakeholders and creating the right conditions to support effective change across people, process and technologies. Develop clear vision and standards and champion the use of best practice business change management standards, tools and processes.
- **Stakeholder engagement and management**:

- quickly build trust and credibility through effective relationships, working collaboratively and providing effective challenge to drive forward the required changes. Stakeholders include BEIS Directors and functional leads, counterparts in the other Matrix departments and programme, current providers UK SBS, co-owners UKRI and BEIS family users (UKSA and Insolvency Service).
- **Communications **- work closely with the communications and engagement lead to ensure the communications plan supports the understanding and acceptance of change enabling programme benefits to be realised.
- **Change Products **- Lead the creation of the required Business Change products for the project. Complete change impact assessments, develop and deliver the BEIS business change plans and ensure business readiness.
- **Delivery **- deliver change in an operational environment, working with functional teams and programme colleagues to ensure impacts are fully understood, documented and planned for across people, process and technologies.
