We are based in Wentworth Castle close to Barnsley town centre and surrounded by 500 acres of National Trust gardens. **Sessional Tutors**

Hourly Rate: £24.40 for delivery

Working Pattern: As and when, fixed term until 31 July 2024

Location: Wentworth Castle, Barnsley, South Yorkshire

We are looking for Sessional Tutors to join our team with qualifications and experience in the following teaching areas:

- Employability
- English
- ESOL
- Health and Social Care with a particular focus on Mental Health/ Mental Health Awareness
- Criminology and Law
- Psychology

Key duties include:

- Plan, deliver and assess high quality teaching and learning both face to face and online.
- Assess, record and report on student progress.
- Work within quality assurance procedures and the requirements of accrediting bodies/RARPA.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and meetings.
- Participate in the design and development of new teaching and learning materials, including those required for blended and online delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their goals.
- A level 5 teaching qualification or be willing to achieve.
- English and Maths at Level 2 or above.
