Health and Social Care Tutor

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Social Care tutor to join our team. As a tutor within Basegreen, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success and help them reach their full potential.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to apprentices, covering a range of topics related to health and social care. This will be covering the 3 standards that Basegreen deliver. Adult Care Worker, Lead Adult Care Worker and Leader in Adult Care.
- Support apprentices in developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to excel in their roles.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to apprentices, identifying and addressing any areas for improvement.
- Develop and update training materials and resources in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to assess apprentices' progress and tailor training plans to meet their individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of apprentices' progress and achievements, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality assurance standards.
- Stay updated on developments in the health and social care sector and incorporate relevant changes into training delivery.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working as a tutor or trainer in the health and social care sector, preferably within apprenticeship programmes.
- A relevant qualification in health and social care and education.
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship frameworks, standards, and assessment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
- A passion for education and a genuine desire to support others in achieving their career goals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
**Salary**: £25,851.00-£27,186.00 per year
