**Job Summary**: The company secretary plays a pivotal role in supporting the efficient functioning of the organisation by managing administrative tasks, correspondence, document control, and facilitating smooth communication within and outside the company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Opens, sorts, distributes, and files both hard copy and electronic correspondence promptly and accurately.
- utilises appropriate software to produce various documents, including correspondence, memoranda, reports, presentations, and other materials based on drafts, handwritten notes, or dictation.
- Manages filing systems, ensures proper organisation, and retrieves documents as necessary.
- produces copies of documentation and maintains an efficient filing system.
- Maintains an appointment diary, arranges travel, and coordinates conferences and other events as required.
- Manages office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels of stationery and equipment.
- Arranges meetings, circulates agendas, and other relevant documents.
- Attends meetings, takes accurate minutes, and prepares comprehensive reports.
- Answers, screens, handles, and directs telephone calls, messages, and inquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Undertakes reception duties, including greeting visitors, managing their needs, and arranging refreshments as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Proficient in using office software and equipment for document preparation and management.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of corporate governance principles and regulatory compliance would be advantageous.
Relevant certification or qualification in administration or secretarial studies is preferred
**Salary**: £22,700.00-£23,700.00 per year
