This opportunity is a newly created role, providing additional resource on a 2-year fixed term basis and reports to the Lead People Business Partner for the North.

We’re recruiting for a part-time strategic People Business Partner (Staff) to join our established team of People Business Partners for Staff and Volunteering & Community in the North region. Our People Business Partner roles influence at a senior level, partnering with key senior clients, including Assistant Directors and members of our Regional Leadership Team.

Interviews will be held on 15Th February in Newcastle

What you'll be doing:You’ll need to be an influential HR practitioner, able to operate at a strategic level and confident working in a complex, matrix-style environment. You’ll act as a credible coach to your clients, bringing expertise, perspective and pragmatism. You’ll bring your experience of managing change, maintaining high employee engagement, experience of organisational development to help our leaders to create a positive, inclusive culture.

You’ll be partnering some of the Trust’s Assistant Directors, and as a Business Partner, you’ll help them to think strategically about their teams and support the implementation of strategic programmes in the region. Building relationships is key.

Who we're looking forTo be successful in this role you'll need;
- Significant generalist HR and Organisational Development experience
- Proven experience of Business Partnering with senior leaders on a range of issues
- A creative approach to problem solving
- Experience in leading for change and in delivering national and regional projects, with quantifiable results
- Resilience and drive, knowing yourself, with the ability to work autonomously
- Accomplished in employee engagement and creating a flexible, inclusive culture.
- Experience of facilitation and team development
