**Customer Service Agent
- New Business**We are looking for self-motivated and driven customer service agent to join our expanding New Business team. You'll be working in an inbound call centre as part of a team supporting customers at the point of their insurance purchase, guiding them through thepayment process, whilst delivering outstanding service and value. If you are passionate about making a difference to customers, this role will give you the scope to do just that.
**Working with us**: You'll work 37.5 hours a week on a rotating shift pattern between 08:00-19:00 Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00 Saturday, and 09:00-13:00 Sunday. You will have to work ONLY 1 in 4 Weekends.
You'll be based at our vibrant Leicester office with a mix of in-office and home working. During your induction you'll have the chance to meet your colleagues face-to-face and we’ll provide full training, which will include academy training and shadowing tohelp you succeed in the role.
You'll have scheduled office time as well as days where you can work from home. All you need to work from home is a stable internet connection and a quiet space to work. We'll kit you out with all the tech you need, including new Microsoft Surface 4 laptop,monitor, desk, and chair.
**Joining our New Business team**: Customer service agent within the New Business Team provides customers with new quotes, whether they're looking for car, bike, van, home, or multi-car/bike policies. We give them all the details they need to makean informed decision, making sure they have the right cover that suits all their needs. Wherever possible, you will support customers to complete the purchase of their policy, guiding them through the sale and processing payments, using one of our digitalproducts. Training doesn't stop once you join your team. We have a supportive development programme with a clear structure for growth within your role. You'll develop skills to retain our customers, strengthen your negotiation skills in order to close thesale and become an advocate of self service. Whatever your future holds, we'll work with you on the best options to put you on the right track, full training and supportwill be given.
**As a Customer Service Agent you will be expected to be**:

- positive and take a patient and empathetic approach when dealing with colleagues
- a clear communicator who can build rapport and bring your personality to work
- adept at navigating software systems while managing a conversation
- someone who's accountable, thorough, and pays attention to detail
- Customer service/sales experience will be beneficial but not essential.

**What we're offering you as a customer service agent**:

- Starting salary of £19,800, with the potential to earn up to £24,000 as you progress
