**Specification Sales Manager**
**Purpose of the Role of Specification Sales Manager - Structural Construction Products**:
Working closely with a supportive and knowledgeable technical support team you will have responsibility for growing sales of a wide range of building chemicals, sealants and adhesives by winning specifications for major construction projects within the infrastructuresector, commercial, public and multi-storey residential buildings sector across the UK. Specifiers will include architects, consulting engineers, structural engineers, civil engineers and design & build main contractors. You will fully supported by a teamof experienced Area Sales Managers, whose role it will be to protect the specifications with contractors and installers. In addition, you will manage 2 field based sales people, mentoring and developing their performance.
**Responsibilities of the Role of Specification Sales Manager - Structural Construction Products**:
- Build relationships with a variety of specifiers such as civil engineers and architects
- Build a pipeline of project specifications and write specifications
- Deliver CPD presentations
- Use Glenigans and internal leads to win specifications
- Provide customer technical support
- Sales team management
**For the position of Specification Sales Manager - Structural Construction Products, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria**:
- Must have a proven track record of at least 3 years of successful specification sales experience
- Sold a technical construction product
- Ambitions to lead and manage a sales team
- Keen to develop a career with a world class, dynamic organisation
- Initiative and able to work independently
- Tenacious, resilient and a desire to exceed targets
- Must be professional, well presented, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
- Driving licence
