The NHS Lanarkshire Department of Medical Education seeks an enthusiastic, motivated clinician to work in collaboration with the Director of Medical Education, Training Quality Leads, DDME (Undergraduates), and appropriate partners, in the continued development and further implementation of pastoral support for undergraduate and postgraduate medical trainees.

The post-holder will contribute to the quality of the medical learning and clinical environment for which NHS Lanarkshire is increasingly renowned.

In particular, they will with appropriate colleagues from Medical Education, Senior Management, Pastoral care team and Career Grade Medical colleagues lead the development and delivery of pastoral support to medical trainees, across the Board area.

The post holder would have further opportunity to collaborate with the DME and colleagues to enhance wellbeing in the clinical learning environment.

The post will be paid at the level of one PA per week. Posts are available for 1 year in the first instance. Salary will be pro-rata.
