To prioritise own delegated caseload to ensure the work is completed in a timely manner and to escalate to the Equipment Discharge Lead when this is not possible. Undertake delegated work to assist the Discharge Equipment Lead in delivering and installing equipment to patients homes where competency allows. Carry out visits to patients homes to deliver and install prescribed minor adaptations as delegated by the Equipment Discharge Lead. Measure for possible minor adaptations as requested, e.g.

stair rails or grab rails. Carry out visits to patients homes to establish the nature of the environment with respect to specifics such as dimensions of doorways, room sizes, power-point locations, furniture in situ and access so as to assist therapist treatment planning. To support the restocking of OT equipment in the therapy stores, assessment areas and equipment library. To be involved in the annual stocktake and provide information to the Equipment Discharge Lead/Departmental Equipment Leads as necessary.

To contribute to ensuring stock is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly fashion, with reference to Manual Handling and Health & Safety Guidance and Legislation. Please see the attached job description for full details.
