Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an international company that runs with a strong family imprint, who are looking for a **Sales Director** to join their expanding business.

The successful **Sales Director** will be responsible for managing the sales strategy in the UK, will possess a strong sales background along with outstanding leadership skills. One of the main projects of the role will be to create brand awarenesson the UK market and build a strong customer base.

**THE ROLE**:
Some of your responsibilities as a **Sales Director** are listed below:

- Management of designated commercial area and management of additional sales areas
- Acquiring new customers, managing existing portfolio of clients, direct selling on the field, research, evaluation and management of external stakeholders such as distributors.
- Market and margin analysis, reports.
- Management of the sales team.
- Constant alignment with the management in the Head Quarter about the sales strategy.
- Identifying opportunities by keeping track of competitor activity
- Using industry knowledge to identify potential new markets and increase the market share

**THE CANDIDATE**:
The ideal **Sales Director**:
Strong commercial & business acumen
- Experience of at least 5-7 years in the similar position
- Entrepreneurial skills with a self-starting attitude toward projects and problem solving skills
- Sales focused - along with strong leadership skills to discover the path to success for yourself and the team
- Experience at presenting to potential clients
- Experience in team management is critical
- Vast experience in food industry specifically on the UK territory.
- Strong background in direct selling / dealing with stakeholders and managing clients
- Proactive, tenacious, and highly motivated
- Strong communication skills and expertise building professional relationships
- Great communication skills / Italian speaking is highly advantageous
- Desirable experience from either:

- Pastry ingredients sector
- Ice cream ingredients sector
- Cafeteria sector
- Food ingredients sector
- Food sector
