Order Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Order Administrator. You will be responsible for managing and processing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. This role requires proficiency in administrative tasks, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter order details into computerized systems
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Communicate with customers regarding order status and updates
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and other related documentation
- Assist with general clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing paperwork
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in an administrative or order processing role
- Proficient in using computerized systems for data entry and order management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with Word Press, inventory management, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) or similar office productivity tools
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently and a good level of numeracy
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Previous experience in an office or customer service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of updating website and navigating the ‘back end’ of websites would be particularly valued
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
