**Customer Service Assistant**

We are looking to recruit a commercially minded **Customer Service Assistant** to work within a busy hive of e-commerce and fulfilment. The purpose of this **advisor** role is to support mutually beneficial relationships between clients and work colleagues at all levels of the business. You will be sitting in the middle of operations and the client, to ensure a smooth client journey. Your ambition to succeed should be at the forefront due to the room for progression in this role.

**Salary**: £20,000 - £24,000 (dependant on experience)

**Hours**: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm - We are always open to discuss individual's flexible working needs so please speak to use during the recruitment process to understand what this could look like for you

**Location**: Sherwood, Nottingham. Further travel information found below.

**Contract type**: Permanent

Your **main responsibilities** as a **Customer Service Assistant** will be:

- Providing support to the accounts and administration team, which includes activities such as scanning, filing, archiving and uploading of invoices to the accounts system for the sales and purchase ledgers
- Supporting the Office Manager with any ad hoc duties as required
- Demonstrating effective communication with customers, co-workers, suppliers and managers, consistently delivering service standards

The **key skills required** as a **Customer Service Assistant** include:

- 2 years' experience in customer service
- Logical troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve common problems using FAQ pages / knowledge-base and previous experience
- Knowledge and experience of using Excel required
- Previous experience of stock management is desirable
- Operational experience in logistics is desirable
- Experience working in strong team environments and able to use problem solving skills
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
