We are looking with a leading Private school in Hammersmith looking for a Communication Assistant to start ASAP.

**The role**

You will communicate with parents and staff, strengthening engagement through events, social media, newsletters and websites. You must have strong administration skills to help run the Development Office day to day.
- Assist in the development of the Schools by fundraising and friend-raising, including developing new opportunities.
- Producing marketing material such as posters, programmes, flyers etc
- Co-ordination of PCC and Development Office meetings and minutes
- Management of the second hand school uniform store and sales, both ad hoc and school-wide sales
- Support with budgeting and considering the necessary finances Communications - Planning & delivering the quarterly 7th Form Newsletter for the alumni in partnership with the Development Officer
- Maintaining a constant presence over social media - LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and shaping the voice of the 7th form online
- Maintenance and updates for the Alumni website and the Development section of the School website
- Updating, researching and inputting alumni details in the School database, constantly gathering new contacts. Working to gain more insights into our alumni and their current status. Identifying any further opportunities for outreach and/or prospecting
- Liaising with alumni regarding attendance at events as well as collating responses after events, or in response to surveys - mapping their engagement and involvement Daily Responsibilities
- Being the first point of communication via telephone representing the Development Office
- Being able to handle a constant flow of parents in and out of the office on a daily basis
