**About the Job**
Relationships mean everything to us, and this one is particularly special. You'll have an important part to play in our Outbase as Stock Lead, this is a 6 month fixed term, field based role with a home base in the Rugby/Midlands area.
As a forward thinking and people focussed company, this is a fantastic opportunity, as an integral member of the Stock Management team, to maintain and improve all aspects of the external Outbase stock integrity.
We're a fast-paced business, always delivering amazing quality and results for our customers, and this role is no exception. As one of our Stock Leads you will manage and control the risks associated with PPE, ICU and BAU stock within the network, ensuring robust processes are in place, driving world class service to our customers.
**As part of your key responsibilities you'll**:
- Work with the external Outbase supplier(s) to implement and maintain robust stock control procedures, whilst ensuring these are being followed by all areas of their operation.
- Maintain and report on KPIs for the department for daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Support the Outbase Stock Operations Manager with data requests, audit trails and ensure KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Liaise with the Outbase suppliers to identify, using Root Cause Analysis, any process failure issues, report and remedy using project plans, investigation trackers, utilising internal tools and techniques.
- Perform audit style checks, verification counts and support twice yearly counts at Outbase supplier sites as required by the business.
- Ensure a standard approach for investigations is maintained by utilising the internal tools and techniques of Unipart.
- Work with the external Outbase supplier to implement, control and manage empty location reporting, feedback to the Operation / Outbase supplier as required. (where applicable)
- Identify risk and make recommendations to ensure the security of stock at all times.
- Cultivate positive working relationships with suppliers and advocate on behalf of the customer.
**About You**
- Expert understanding of warehousing principles
- Stock Control experience
- PC literate in Microsoft packages and google suite
- Experience supervising small teams or ready to take the next step
- As this is a field based role which involves travelling to multiple sites, a driving licence is a must.
