We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Stock Administrator**for the **WP group**.
**WP Group (Part of Moove Europe)**is a leading fuels distribution company. Our head office is based in central Southampton. We specialise in the supply of high-quality fuels.

The purpose of the Stock Administrator role is to review and reconcile all movements of stock daily to ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers. You will also be responsible for reviewing and reporting on Driver’s compliance and providing stock reporting to the Financial Controller and Financial Operations Manager to aid end of month stock reporting.
You will be required to carry out routine checks for all stock locations and reconcile book stocks to actual stocks daily. In line with this, you will be required to demonstrate flexibility in managing a developing process and assist the Financial Operations Manager in developing a strong control environment for WP Group stocks.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Champion WP Group business systems and reporting within the Finance team- To review and confirm all delivery paperwork to ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers- Ensuring that all WP Group stocks are managed, carrying out routine procedures to review the system information and quality of our procedures- You will investigate material variances identified during the course of your work and report your findings- Process third party deliveries and be responsible to submitting MGO claims to HMRC- You may be required to assist other WP Group functions as and when the need arises and assist with data entry tasks when requested.
**Skills required**
- Reporting/analysis skills- Demonstrable ability to learn new systems and skills to support business users- Previous experience of a distribution-based business or involvement with stock management procedures or a demonstrable ability to learn, with strong admin and reconciliation skills- Effective oral and written communication skills, including a persuasive telephone manner- Ability to make key informed decisions based on relevant information and to manage multiple tasks within strict time deadlines- Working ability of MS Word and Excel is essential. Experience with accounting software would be advantageous
