**Ocean Healthcare** are looking for an experienced **Female Healthcare Assistant** to support a jovial 38-year-old lady at her bungalow where she lives in **Dawlish**. She suffers with seizures, anxiety and has learning disability. She has limited verbal communication but can use Makaton.

She lives in a bungalow on her own with 24hr support. There is parking onsite, and she has a friendly dog called Mr Tumble. Join our amazing team and help us make a real difference.

She enjoys playing games and cards, going to musicals at the theatre, singing, going to Church groups, and going out food shopping so she can plan her meals. She has her own car which you would need to be able to drive as she enjoys going out daily either to regular exercise or out to her local community shopping, restaurants, and cafes where she enjoys her favourite hot chocolate.

She has an attendant operated powered wheelchair when out and about but is mobile when at home and will walk around shops to choose what she wants to buy.

**You will be working 1:1**

You need to be an experienced carer. It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs. Fully trained carers in this package will be competent working with gastrostomy, BiPAP, managing seizures and PTSD/Mental Health.

**Pay Rates**:

- **£14.50 p/hr Monday - Friday**:

- **£17.05 p/hr Saturday - Sunday**:

- **£20.05 p/hr Bank Holidays**
- We offer the option to be paid _**Weekly **_or _**Monthly**_. Speak to one of our team to find out more._

**Shifts**:
**4 - 6 hour shifts covering various Days & Hours**

It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.

**Full mileage paid from home to this location in Dawlish up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.**

While there are lots of work opportunities within Ocean Healthcare, the terms detailed in this job advert are specific ONLY to this package of care. Permanent and bank contracts available. You can work full or part time.
