**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Rail-Ability Ltd (**railability.co.uk**) is an award-winning UK SME that specializes in manufacturing and converting specialist Road-Rail mobile plant used in Railway Industries Worldwide for carrying out railway maintenance, renewals work, and new infrastructure installations. Rail-Ability offer a fully encompassed service, taking projects from initial concept stage through to the finished working product, all from their central Midlands factories.

**Your business as usual will be doing one or all of these**:

- Work with the purchasing team to onboard new suppliers, assisting with the completion of supplier approvals.
- Completing goods inwards inspection of parts received into the offices, booking deliveries into the procurement system.
- Answering telephone calls and ensuring all enquires are dealt with correctly.
- Some day-to-day administration tasks including scanning, photocopying, filing, & data inputting.
- Preparing documentation and work packs to be issued within Rail-Ability.
- Any other duties connected with the role.
- Previous experience not essential
- Good numeracy, literacy and eye for detail
- Confident communicating by phone
- Teamwork and communication skills
- IT skills - Microsoft Word and Excel

**Benefits**

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, but flexible working is available. Rail-Ability offers a holiday accrual scheme, free on-site parking; mentoring, training programmes and staff discount at partnered restaurants.
