**Design Engineer required.**Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer based in the Worksop, Nottinghamshire area. They are seeking an enthusiastic Desing Engineer / Draftsperson to join their design team, and assist withinmachinery design.

**Design Engineer / DraftspersonPosition Overview**
- Design of machinery whilst optimising quality and efficiency
- Carrying out stress analysis
- Attending customer sites throughout the UK and occasionally overseas to conduct site surveys
- Conducting research and development & liaising with customers
- Production of parts & assembly drawings using software including AutoCAD
- Improving and re-modelling of existing CAD files

**Design Engineer / DraftspersonPosition Requirements**
- Strong background in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
- Knowledge in Materials Handling would be advantageous.
- At least 3 years' experience working in a design office environment.
- Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Advance Steel, Tekla or other 3D software.
- Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel to site and carry out site surveys.
- Excellent technical communication skills.
- Must be able to work within a team and use their own initiative.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Must be able to work within defined timescales, ensuring deadlines are met.

**Design Engineer / DraftspersonPosition Remuneration**
- Full time - Permanent
- Salary £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
- Holiday allowance and pension
