Customer Service Administrator

We are recruiting a Customer Service Administrator to work as part of the Cars team on our site in Longridge, Preston. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, you will take responsibility for acting as a point of contact for customers buying or selling auction or scrap vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a period of significant change and be part of the next chapter in this well-established Recycling Business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To provide customer service via the telephone systems for Scrap Car Network and Raw2k customers.
- Satisfy any queries and questions any customer or lead might have.
- Take inbound phone calls on any queries.
- Make outbound calls on leads in order to convert into sales.
- Provide and maintain relevant KPI information where required.
- Ensure all complaints are resolved at first point of contact wherever possible and promptly escalate any issues that can not be dealt with in the first instance.
- Identify and flag any issues or suggestions to reduce repeat calls.
- To book and rearrange collections, considering distance and convenience of the client and driver to keep costs reduced.
- Adhere to agreed call standards, building and maintaining excellent relationships with the public and drivers.
- Confidently navigate and add information through the different systems to progress the collection.
- Complete assigned work within the timescales provided
An experienced administrator with customer service knowledge, used to dealing with high volumes and conflicting priorities.
