Children's Ministry Leader

RCCG City of Zion (COZ) in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire is looking to hire a Children's Ministry Leader. Could you be the one for this ministry position?
**Purpose**: To administer all of the City of Zion (COZ) programs for children ranging in ages from newborn through 10th grade, ensuring that all programs and activities are designed to lead children into a lifelong relationship with Jesus, equipping them with the necessary tools to live the Gospel joyously. This also includes administering programs that encourage the core values of Christian family life and Christian parenting.
This is a full-time position, averaging 37.5-hours a week, hybrid-model, consistent with assigned duties during the year.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
VOLUNTEERS: Recruit, train, coordinate, organize, and supervise volunteers for all COZ Children’s Ministry programs and events.
PROGRAMS: Plan, organize, and supervise all COZ Children’s Ministry (CM) programs and events. CM programs include the following: Sunday Morning Children’s Church
Nursery
Special Children’s Events
Kid’s Worship Team
Children’s Christmas Program
PARENTS: Coordinate and provide discipleship and outreach to parents with the goal of helping families train their children, hear the Gospel, grow in their faith, develop their gifts and do God’s work.
OTHER GENERAL DUTIES: Constantly evaluate the purpose and function of all programs and events.
Coordinate sanitation and safety protocols
Use appropriate child development knowledge to best meet the needs of COZ’s children in curriculum selection, activities, discipline, classroom settings, etc.
Communicate the needs of the CM program’s to other staff and church leaders as appropriate.
Participate in Job Performance Reviews led by an organized Review Committee and the Lead Pastor

**Personal Qualification Requirements**:
Personal commitment to Jesus Christ and desire to walk in holiness (1 Timothy 3)
Love for children and desire to see them grow in Christ (Matthew 19:14)
Good communication, computer, leadership, and organizational skills (Colossians 3:23)
Sense of God’s call to ministry at RCCG City of Zion (Colossians 3:23-24)
Able to be a self-starter and be personally motivated (2 Timothy 1:6)
Desire to be a life-long learner, remain accountable to a group of his choice (James 5:16, Galatians 6:2)
**Professional Qualification Requirements**:
Knowledge and experience in Biblical interpretation, child development (and faith development) and religious education.
Maintains confidentiality as appropriate.
Accountable with church resources.
Committed to ongoing education and skill development.
Understand and support the purpose, mission, and doctrine of ministry.
**Experience Required**:
Five years of experience in Children’s Ministry at Pastoral/Senior Leadership Level
**Salary**: £19,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cambridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
