Locations: We have two vacancies, one in Northallerton and one in Scarborough.

The ability to travel around the county is essential for both posts.

The Minority Inclusion Support Team is a part of Early Help, which is placed within North Yorkshire County Council’s Children & Families Service.

The number of international new arrivals in North Yorkshire has increased significantly over recent years with the arrival of children and families through UK Resettlement Schemes, the Afghan relocation programme, and the Homes for Ukraine scheme, along with growing numbers of children and families seeking asylum in the UK.

The specific focus of the Minority Inclusion Support Team is to offer support and guidance to international new arrivals, including refugees and asylum seekers, and those from other vulnerable groups, along with the schools and agencies who support them.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, supportive, and highly motivated individuals who are passionate and experienced in working with vulnerable children, young people & families.
