**The National Youth Agency is excited to be recruiting for a Programme Coordinator**

**What we do**

All young people deserve a productive, fulfilling future. Society needs the spark and energy of young people to make it tick, yet somehow thousands of young people feel blocked by the complex, sometimes disheartening challenges the modern world throws at them.

Youth work is the best methodology to unlock young people’s potential by providing high quality support and opportunities. Skilled youth workers build relationships that support young people to explore their personal, social, and educational development. Youth work enables young people to develop their voice, influence, and place within society.

As the national body for youth work, NYA has a dual function. We are the professional, statutory, and regulatory body (PSRB) responsible for qualifications, quality standards and safeguarding for youth work and services in England. In line with our charity mission and aims, we also champion youth work through research, advocacy, campaigns, and programmes.

**About the Role**

We want to change children’s and young people’s perceptions of their future life chances so they can thrive in a society that encourages their growth and passions. This programme aims to meet young people where they are and collaborate with youth groups across the country to deliver a programme that works for them. Through our partnership work we will deliver high quality impact full programme aimed at equipping young people with the skills and confidence they need to achieve their potential.

High level relationship management skills are essential in this role and experience in developing collaborative partnerships would be a distinct advantage. The role will entail working with a variety of stakeholders including young people, youth workers, Trustees, funders, senior leaders, sector partners and many more.

Your organisational and/or well-developed project management skills will enable you to manage a diverse range of cases, working with customers and stakeholders to review youth work practice, identify developmental needs and implement plans to embed effective youth work practice.

**You will**:

- Develop and deliver training for the NatWest Thrive Programme and support delivery of training across NYA clients.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of resources and processes.
- Manage and maintain caseload of programme partners across England and Wales.
- Provide excellent customer service and troubleshooting for caseload.

- Support programme partners to fulfil reporting requirements, ensure all data is captured in a timely manner.
- Support programme manager to produce required reporting for programme funder.
- Ensure the voice of young people is embedded within the programme and in all aspects of our work.
- Ensure the NYA follows best safeguarding best practice.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are connected to the wider work and offer across the NYA.
- Work alongside all stakeholders to make sure that delivery partners have a good experience whilst delivering the NatWest Thrive programme.
- Work across all areas of NYA business and strategy, bringing youth work expertise.
