**Job Title**: Transport and Service Call Coordinator

**Location**: Witham, Essex

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Summary**:
We are looking for a dedicated Transport and Service Call Coordinator to manage daily operations of our transport and service departments. This role involves overseeing transport logistics, handling incoming service calls, and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service and satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the transport department, ensuring safety and compliance with company standards and procedures (SOP, RA, COSHH, 5S).
- Maintain a "right first time, every time" culture by fostering close working relationships within the delivery team.
- Manage the company delivery database, update CRM with new and existing customer details.
- Act as a point of contact for drivers, providing support and resolving queries.
- Record delivery information, monitor driver schedules, and handle vehicle maintenance coordination.
- Support internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Monitor and manage driver sickness and holidays.
- Collaborate with the sales office to optimise delivery routes and handle nonstandard delivery requests efficiently.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining high standards of service quality and resolving escalated issues promptly.
- Coordinate and schedule service calls based on urgency and engineer availability.
- Process replacement parts for service requests and schedule appointments with customers.
- Communicate job details to service engineers, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Identify issues using product manuals and determine warranty coverage for service calls.

**Desirable Skills, Experience and Behaviours**:

- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a customer service-oriented industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
