We are looking for a **People Partner** for a **12-month **contract based in **Bristol** on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe, and competitive solutions to meet the planet’s vital power needs.
**Job description - the role**
You will ensure the effective delivery of HR operations in their area; meeting business needs in line with HR delivery model and company policy. You will have prime responsibility for local deployment of Company HR processes such as Performance Management, Reward Review, Role grading, Salary policy, Engagement Surveys, and deployment of Diversity & Inclusion plans.
**As a People Partner you will be responsible for**:

- Provide effective HR support to local business managers ensuring business needs are met in line with Company HR policies and processes. Work with line managers and employees to resolve problems in areas beyond HRSSC remit e.g. where face-to-face support or knowledge of the local business context is required.
- Drive the effectiveness of the HR delivery model: Guideline managers to obtain support from the right areas; maintain a strong partnership with other HR Service Operations activities and Business Ops SHRBPs to ensure overall service delivery; ensure accurate data management by advising HR SSC on all changes and complying with approval & notification procedures.
- Manage local components of projects and wider change programmes. In particular; Implement site level organisational change / re-design, support wider business /corporate and HR change programmes, identify gaps and improvements in local HR service provision in line with HR strategy, suggesting initiatives for the local agenda where appropriate, manage local projects aligned to HR Business Operations priorities as required.
- Provide employee/workforce development by directing line-managers to appropriate learning solutions or by identifying new learning needs to Learning Services.
- Support recruitment activity by ensuring vacancies are defined, graded and approved and line-managers directed to the appropriate resourcing services.
- Advise and guideline managers on their HR responsibilities, management behaviours and team management.
- Strong HR experience. In depth knowledge of the HR function and its capability to support business objectives.
- Broad knowledge of the HR best practice across Employee Relations, Reward, Resourcing, Development and Employment Law.
- Well-developed customer and relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing skills. Strong customer service orientation.
- CIPD Level 3 and above.
- Experience of working alongside Trade Unions.
- Fast-paced environment experience.
- Experience in manufacturing industry.
