**Responsibilities Include**:

- Accountable for the management and continuous improvement of the AAS Management System ensuring that the ARR/Event Connect/Taxi ISO9001 accreditation and associated processes and procedures are maintained, delivering additional ISO accreditations in line with the business requirements.
- Delivery accurate and timely billing, finance reporting, KPI’s and data reporting on behalf of the AAS Business. Monitor and manage accurate and timely billing of customers and payment of suppliers via the Finance and Shared Service Centre Business Partners.
- Accountable for the ARR and Taxi software management, development and innovations working with the IT Business Partner. Ensure these systems remain fit for purpose, secure, best in class and deliver innovation which improves the safety, operational efficiency and customer experience. To ensure effective reconciliation of operator invoices, daily joint control close down and data input into Catalina Taxi system.
- Manage the AAS HR and Communications Business Partner relationship ensuring support is provided to the wider AAS Team including creation and delivery of AAS HR policies, management toolkits, projects and internal comms.
- Deliver a full programme of external audits to c.700 ARR/Taxi third party suppliers ensuring compliance, reporting and spot checking. Provide periodic refreshes of the audit programme in line with updated company priorities and legislative changes.
- Manage the AAS IT Business Partner relationship delivering (in addition to the systems requirements outlined above) a break-fix solution for all AAS employees, ensuring all AAS sites are fit for purpose and in defining and delivering innovation and projects as required by the business.
- Manage the Finance and Shared Service Business Partner Relationships ensuring that all billing and payment activity is monitored and managed. Deliver projects as required by the business.
- Support the Head of Business Partnerships in the delivery of Tender responses for AAS, notably in the collation of IT, Business Process and Innovation.
- Act as the Abellio Group Lead on Public Service Vehicle Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR) including negotiation and influencing of the Rail Delivery Group, Department for Transport, Office of the Rail Regulator and TOC/Abellio Group Boards.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the Senior Management Team and in order to ensure that the right level of commercial review and challenge is included in the development of processes, projects and IT systems. This includes the creation of business cases to support investment decision-making.
- Support the creation and delivery of the vision and mission statement with the Director of AAS, working together on business planning and accreditation, taking an active role in the SMT on communications.
- Represent AAS (Rail support, Taxis and Ground Transport) in strategic discussions, negotiations and issue resolution with Partners and stakeholders in relation to the delivery of contract. Stakeholders will include Government bodies, Department for Transport, Transport Scotland, Transport for Wales, Network Rail, Local Authorities, Transport Partnerships, External Clients and Organising Committees.
- Build, motivate and mentor the AAS Team to ensure effective working and high levels of productivity in a varied and fast paced role. Work closely with the team on strategy and implementation. Look for opportunities for improvements and plans for effective resourcing.
- Degree level education in a relevant discipline, with some experience or tertiary
- qualification backed up with significant experience
- Shows evidence of ongoing CPD
- Operationally & commercially focussed
- Excellent negotiator and communicator
- Significant experience of leading an operational team
- Experience of working in the transport industry desirable
- Flexibility to travel to other Abellio sites in the UK is vital, often at short notice
