We are looking for a Therapy Area Specialist to join our team in East Scotland and make a significant impact on patient outcomes within primary and secondary care

As a Therapy Area Specialist, your role will be pivotal in effectively engaging NHS stakeholders throughout the patient journey in primary and secondary care. Drawing upon your extensive knowledge of diseases, brands, and the healthcare landscape, you will facilitate impactful interactions, ensuring optimal patient accessibility and championing the value of our client’s offerings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in diseases, brands, and the healthcare environment to enhance the effectiveness of interactions and maximize the value of our pharmaceuticals.
- Employ a strategic approach in engaging pivotal stakeholders and organizations along the patient journey, ensuring patient access within the local NHS framework.
- Foster relationships with Key Clinical Experts to advocate for the appropriate utilisation of our client’s medicines and champion the advantages for patients.
- Embrace a digital-first mentality, leveraging technology to elevate customer experiences and streamline operational efficiency.
- Exemplify our client's purpose, values, and behaviors, fostering an inclusive and diverse culture that fosters growth-oriented thinking.

Basic Qualifications & Experience:

- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in Life Sciences.
- ABPI qualification.
- Proficiency in NHS structures and the intricate interplay between Health and Care systems.
- Exceptional selling skills, including the ability to effectively present clinical and real-world data.
- Demonstrated track record of forging enduring customer relationships and cultivating advocacy.
- Proficiency in business planning and an understanding of operational strategies.
