The post holder will be passionate about excellent client service and the delivery of high quality health & wellbeing services offered by SHP. They will have excellent customer service skills and will be committed to supporting the Directors of SHP and the wider SHP team. The post holder will also be a personable, professional, dedicated, honest and reliable individual with excellent communication, organisational and people management skills. They will demonstrate strong self-awareness using critical reflection on personal performance, and they will be proactive and both creative & flexible in their approach, with an excellent eye for detail. They will relish the opportunity to work in a people facing role and be able to work under pressure, with excellent time management, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.

**General duties and responsibilities**
- To demonstrate knowledge of SHP mission statement, values, procedures and policies and to contribute to the ongoing update and development of these
- To demonstrate knowledge of all services and supporting functions delivered by SHP
- To contribute to the growth of SHP through a commitment to an outcome driven service that provides a positive experience for all clients/patients, team members and any other stakeholders
- To model behaviour in accordance with SHP mission statement and values
- Adherence to and contribution to the development and update of SHP procedures, policies and health & safety requirements
- To liaise with the Directors of SHP to fulfil the requirements of the role

**Specific responsibilities**
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Oversee and contribute to the delivery of the clinical and studio functions of SHP
- Oversee the purchasing of materials and resources, planning inventory and retail functions of SHP
- To manage and oversee the SHP IT systems and the staff training and use of the systems and related processes
- To oversee staff holiday, sickness and cover and to contribute to the monthly requirements for calculating team / instructor revenue and payments
- To support the marketing functions and website update requirements for SHP
- Help SHP processes to remain legally compliant and compliant with professional & regulatory bodies and guidance
- To formulate operational objectives in line with the SHP strategy
- To support the examination of financial data, with the aim of improving profitability
- To oversee accounting processes at SHP and to liaise with the external accounting support to help manage accounts, budgets and forecasts
- To oversee quality controls and to monitor success and performance across SHP
- To oversee and contribute to the recruitment, training, supervision, and support of current and new SHP staff/team members
- To lead, line manage and mentor the reception team and to model behaviours that are in line with client service best practice and the SHP values
