We are currently recruiting a Primary Mental Health Practitioner who will come from a youthwork, clinical, social care or educational setting and will have experience in supporting the mental health needs of Primary and Secondary aged pupils. The Primary Mental Health Practitioner will work with a cluster of schools to deliver our new innovative Mental Health Strategy across our regions.

Job Summary includes:

- Assessing the needs of CYP’s who have been referred with concerns surrounding their Mental Health
- Providing therapeutic support as 1:1 or group work under the direction of the Senior Mental Health Practitioner for a variety of pupils with Mental Health needs
- Supporting the facilitation of group, parent and staff mental health interventions including Oasis Encounter (NVR).
- Working alongside the National Mental Health Lead and Inclusion Leads to promote a “whole school approach” through the Oasis Way strategy.
